Helen, I would suggest if you're going to spend money making things just right, then don't risk owt going wrong with the decals!!
It won surprise you to hear I know a man who can sort that for not many pennies at all including sticking as he does all my vans (14) so he must owe a favour or four!
Laterz!

We have just done a Komet. Used a very recent VW colour and then had all decals recut and fitted. IIRC local sign chap charged £144 to do artwork, supply and fit.
I toyed with the idea of changing the colour but decided not to as having one colour on the outside and another on the inside would really annoy me. But that's just me and my OCD.....
for X sake , you should be painting the insides of the doors anyway, the only area that ads extra work is internal around windows and such and the extent of that is dependant on the conversion

Indeed they should be!
The other 'only extra area' work aswell is having the dash removed to catch bottom of screen under dash top and the front deformation panel etc.
(oh , and remove the engine so engine bay can be painted aswell )
depends on what you want and where you go etc, but there is no prob with the visible part of the lowerscreen as i always remove all glass and fittings so doing this is no extra work really and part of what i would describe as a normal repaint as opposed to an external blow over which i dont get involved in.
engine bay accepted this would not normally be painted but more than happy to oblige

thats the best Q in the world - "how much is a cheap and quick blow over but a half decent job?"
There then follows a discussion about 'cheap' and 'quick' and 'decent' all being subjective.
My Mrs is due an op on her back, you think if i book her into BUPA and ask the surgeon if he can do a cheap and half decent job he will put his name to it and oblige?
Here is pic anyway for Doris. LD7A Pepper Grey. This time it was into usual door shut lines for external paint. Coming back over the winter to have deformation panel/seat boxes/ engine bay etc done and a full retrim and possibly new interior. Wonder if that means the Komet logos have to come off if its not a Komet anymore?
I dont know but.............. in the case you show well its a nice colour and the graphics suit, i suppose its because they are in a colour that works with the body colour as opposed to a garish one. on yours its not so 'in your face'
yes cheap/quick/good all subjective, like the folk thast want more performance and better economy ,lol you can have the ability for both but not at the same time.
bupa ! sufficer to say that i have personal experience of a detrimental nature...maybe i was unlucky

Exactly....and the pillars, floor pans, battery boxes, under the bed etc; anywhere I could see it in fact. Like I said, OCD...
