Need a body

Hi,
My mechanically excellent van is rotting out, not helped by the sea air of Guernsey where I live. Its getting to a point where I think it may be cheaper to buy a van with a sound body from the UK, strip it and fit all my nice new parts to it and sell off what I take off the donor vehicle.
Any thoughts on this would be great, I am a mechanic, and built the van, so the swap over is no stress, but I'm no good at bodywork and the paint shops over here are very expensive.
Any pointers on a van body (water cooled) also appreciated. (have posted in wanted as well)

there was a marsala red panel van Shell on ebay a month or so ago , it keeps popping up for sale every now and again, Might be worth searching for completed listing and asking the fella if it sold or not, It had no rot and was pretty tidy.
