cooling fan

still trying to locate a cooling fan - a breaker down this way has a fan off a T4 - mines an 89 2.1 petrol - is it possible to improvise with the T4 fan ? - its the motor that's packed in on mine and I'm hoping to just use the motor ( the connectors seem the same.
