replacing instrument panel; petrol/diesel?

Ok, I got a spare instrument panel, but I only just noticed it is from a petrol, we have a diesel. it is exactly the same as our old unit but without the glow plug light.

can anyone tell me if I can transfer my old glow plug light into the new unit? will the pcb and internal wiring support it, or will I need to take that from the old unit too?

I just wanted to ask before I waste a lot of time and mess up both units ...
