Camper cupboards

Hi, i have a panel van and want to put a cupboard in, at the min i have one of those canvas camping ones which are a bit "pooh" so i want somet a bit more substantial either make one or get something allready done. How do i fit it down so it dont tip over ie do i bolt it to the floor etc any help would be appreciated. I also like the old ally kitchen cupboards too if anyone know where i can get em cheep.

Plywood or similar sheet fixed to the floor with self tappers and cupboards fixed to that using 'L' shaped brackets or possibly more aesthetically pleasing purpose made plastic brackets which (I'd guess) any caravan accessory supplier would stock - or ebay perhaps...

try Ikea... they sell some cracking ready made kitchen units... that fit in campers!
All you do is build it, and cut the profile of the van side panel out of the back of the unit.. secure it with what 1664 says

cool i might go and have a look in ikea, dontthink ill go with the wife as we always argue in that place, it does somet to womens heads its mental.

Kitchen fitters nightmare them IKKY base units :evil:

Not enough void at the rear of the back panels :twisted: :twisted:

You could use the wall units and stand them off the side of the van :?:

that's why I suggested cutting the back off to match the profile :ok
and the top to suit I suppose..
Nothing fits without modification, unless it was made to fit

I might add I have never done the cutting and modifying thing myself.
but I know a bloke who did..and it looked very good.
