Headlight switch part numbers

Post by NeilHarris »

Hi,

I'm new to VW ownership, having picked up a T25 Hanover Bluestar Multivan Cathago coversion today.

The headlights do not work at all and I need to get them fixed ASAP. Looking on this forum there are a few posts about the switch itself being a weak link ?
Mine has a part number 251 941 531 K and is one that I cannot locate anywhere as yet. I don't know if I have 'dim dip' either as I havn't seen them working.
Where is the best place to call for help / replacement switch if required etc. I have manuals being delivered- not arrived yet and will download the Vanagon manual- but any help up front very much appreciated.

Thanks for this. I traced the fault to an Earth problem. All fixed now.
