Hope someone can help.... We've just bought a t25 trident autosleeper and we've noticed foil inside the vents behind the fridge - we're guessing its for insulation but is it dangerous for the vents to be blocked ?
This is probably the 1st of many questions as we've never had a vw van before, only had it for 24 hrs and loving it already!

If you mean the large vents for cool air circulation around the heat exchanger then no; but it will reduce the efficiency of the fridge as the the better the heat dissipation the better the cooling.
If you mean the smaller gas burner exhaust flue vent then yes it is dangerous as it will prevent the combustion gases venting outside the van so remove it.

Hi, thanks for the responses.... 1664 it is the large vents, not the smaller one so guess thats the fridge ones - i think we'll remove it anyway as it looks tatty and we want the van to look as pretty as possible!!
