Hi all,
Is there an easy way to get the drop link back onto the ARB with the bush already fitted to the drop link as i cannot get it on over the lip on the end of the ARB?
Thanks

Brute force and lubrication! I used plenty of washing up liquid and eventually it went on. I think there's a post on here about using a ratchet strap to help it on .

Re: New drop link bushes
I recently fitted bushes to my drop links. the trick is to only fit them halfway into the link, then the the bit that's still sticking out will give you a start onto the bar. It's then down to lub' and a rubber mallet to pop it on the rest of the way

Re: New drop link bushes
I just did this job the other day and what a pig!
I had the ARB off the van and found that I could get the bush on the ARB no problem but then couldn't get the link over the bush afterwards. Then removed bush from ARB, fitted to link, couldn't get bush'd link onto ARB try as I might.
Eventually (many cursed words and cup o tea later) I slipped the bush half off the link, then put the exposed end of the bush (link half-on) over the end of the ARB (much lube required) and slid both on together by standing the ARB on it's end, balanced nicely between my knees and hanging off the link/bush, bit of a twisting motion in there for good measure. not sure how easy this would be with the ARB on the van but I'm glad I don't have to do that again for a while (fingers crossed!)
hope it helps
