Hi one and all

Mine packed up on holidays. I gave the aluminium bullet fuses a twist which broke the oxidiastion between aluminium fuses and the copper connectors. Hey presto the washers started working again. If your van has aluminium bullet fuses like mine give them all a twist to break the oxidisation. If it has push in aluminium fuses pull them all out one at a time and apply a light spray of WD40 and dry each one. That may well work for you. Try this simple cheap option first. Let us know if it cures the problem.

cheers Kit, did not know if I could use those ones, as T25 was not on the vehicle list. From what I can see comparing to the Brickworks ones, they are universal for VW's.

Pretty much. The washer pump was very low down the priority list. Look at the Beetle - that worked using pressurised air from the spare tyre which meant when you DID need the spare, it was as flat as a pancake lol. :rofl

Any universal pump will do the trick. I actually have a huge 12v water pump floating around, was tempted to widen the jets (just a tadge :D ) and see if I could beef up the washers a bit  - fire engine style....
