windscreen washer not working

wipers work fine -
washer bottle full -
press stalk towards me - but no water coming onto windscreen? -
changed fuse 17 - 10 amp - nada -
any ideas mon amies? :)

could well be - no noise from the pump when stalk is pressed -
should this do it?

Yes, although seen it cheaper in other motor accessory places. Most they're worth is a tenner in my view. I'd take yours off, apply 12v to it and see if it actually works first. Could just be a bad connection or broken wire in the circuit.

spot on!
took wiring of old one off - wriggled the wires - drop of wd -
'might as well try it again before getting a new one' -
works fine! - :ok
all good -
thanks for the suggestion -
for future reference - how to test power reaching motor?
ign on - multi meter set to 12v - willing accomplice pressing wiper stalk -
black lead on multi meter to an earth - red lead (hopefully) to live wire going to motor -
should read 12v?
be good to know :)
