Rally Syncro...

Post by GoldSyncro »

Came across this today. Thought I'd share and see if anybody's come across it before and find out who put it together. Is it Bernd Jaeger's??

It's not Bernd's, his has roll over exterior cage installed on his, and is featured in the series of videos of Extrem Bulli I posted up a while ago :)

Of course, it could be one of his.

It's not really a Syncro.. it's a mid-engined, space-frame chassi'ed, off-road racer with a Syncro shell welded on top..

PS. Bernd's rallyebus has evolved over the years, possibly the only part carried over from the previous one to this is the drivers door complete with all his event stickers...

I thought that red-on-white German plates were for disabled drivers? Or are they for all concession vehicles including "oldtimers" over 30 years old, as well as trade plates?

The astonishing thing is that it's built into a genuine syncro panel van shell! Look at the front, below the screen

Why not use a 2wd if most of it was going to go on the scrap heap anyway? Like having a 4wd "identity" for the TUV really matters on a vehicle like that...
