I thought it might be that, but didn't know a T25i had a lamp on the dash for it ?

US Vanagons had a warning lamp for O2 sensor failure, sent from ECU iirc.

Related question on this subject:

How to release individual wires from the loom-side 14-pin connector? I have several damaged wires thanks to previous owner scotchlok bodgery  and want to shrink-wrap them but can't get the connectors to release...grrr! Not a job to lose patience over, best to ask having failed so far...

Last things first !
Iirc you can release the connection from the plastic housing , there is a "barb" on the underside if the connector , but I have not successfully got the to stay together after refilling !

John, the URL refers to my image collection called techhelp not Wiki'd

Yep, you need a very fine pokey tool to pull the springy tang thing back out a bit so it will lock back in place.

Aye, I got to there, good collection of stuff :) Is it there a link for general forum users to get to it anywhere ? If not perhaps a link in wiki might be good ?

Thank'ee chaps. Sometimes the simplest of jobs is the most tricky, in the correct light I can now see the tang inside and it's not where I thought it was!
