T25 DJ intermittent fault 1987

Post by richardhulbertt25 »

Hi every one

I have worked on this problem for a while now I have changed the relays and the petrol pump I have power to all the bit I should have

Today I have discovered that the ignition relay No 18 (fuse board) is getting warm and also the petrol pump relay engine compartment end is getting warm

Is this normal? not noticed it before if they should not be getting warm what would course this?

Van will run for ages and will have no problems However took it to MOT Passed with honours coming home van stops no voltage at petrol pump?
ignition turn on 18 clicks no click at petrol pump end. Could it be wire from ign relay to ppr?

Has anyone come across this very ignoring intermittent problem /fault :run :run :run

Poor earth on the fuel pump end.... The wires to the pump are a common corrosion point too
