Busfest - heads up - display vehicles

Post by Aidan »

apparently those that have displayed over the last couple of years and been promised free entry this year won't be getting free entry now because Busfest PLC INC. Corp. is not the trading company that made the promise

I'm sure that Simon or Mike Ghia will be along shortly to explain

And they (who make money out of it and don't do it for love despite appearances) wonder why some of us don't want to be involved

I'm pre-ordering some Mefros from Lars, if anyone else wants any either let me know or contact and pay Lars direct

Looks like my VF 2011 syncro display plaque will be the only one the bus ever gets then. This lot keep shooting themselves in the foot, don't they?

Too true.
As of last year, we have voted with our feet and boycotted the event. Prices were just getting stupid.
But there are those who support it despite it all so chances of anything changing... nil.

Appologise, I should clarify that the group I meant was the west of Scotland VW club.
My bad

Price takes the wee for the weekend, £90! For a weekend - nah! We went to a show in France 15€ for the weekend, got 1/2 litre of local white wine aswell included in the ticket!

A bigger pee off is that dependant on who you are especially particualr people that travel from the continent are able to get in for free.
