Recommend a T25 mechanic near Chichester.

Post by Madfish »

At The moment we are on our way home from Brittany & can't find a garage here to help.

List of things that have broken or happened so far :

Mileometer stopped working.

Loud & irritating knocking sound from R/h/s.most of the time. Had it checked, but refused to perform to order and the garagiste could not find anything wrong after a very quick look underneath @ ten to lunch on Saturday.

Horn - intermittent mad sounding in middle of a busy town. Only way to stop it was remove the fuse.

Indicators - stopped working a week ago. The French dont seem to mind, but worried about Portsmouth on Sunday afternoon.

I think that is it. Just want to get Mr Whiffy into warm & loving arms when I get back and i am so tired of paying for bad or non existent work by guessers. Anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Thank you guys for both recommendations Ill be checking them both out as soon as I finish the domestic stuff. Mr W. is home now and about 3,000k covered. May have been more - just a rough guess, but will now start sticking back on the bits that fell off, mending stuff and chucking stuff away completely.

And on the credit side - there are quite a few of these little beasts roaming around Brittany so they seem to keep on going :) Actually, there were three of us on the ferry last night!

Thanks again

I guess we're a bit late now but we could have helped.

We're based in Waterlooville, just north of Portsmouth.
