crew cab rear seat application

Whats the score with the rear seat in a crew cab?
Mine hasn't got one, got pictures of one to buy,
whats the box/frame it appears to sit on?
Is that what holds the seat base?
Hows it fixed to the cab?
Is it metal/wood/papermashe?

Yes im new to this game! Only had bugs but I've grown up now!

hi im trying to fit some seats in rear of mine!! ive brought 2 sets but only 1 will work i think there out of a 7 seater bus.the proper ones are hard to get!!.ive mock fitted but theres not alot of leg room,im trying raised, angled foot well i hope this helps !!!!!! cheers del

Other cool thing about the crewcab is you can adapt a bored out beetle/type2 engine to fit in there - heh heh.....
