Gas gas gas
Ive almost run out of gas.
I have an under slung tank on my California which runs a 3 way fridge and a two burner hob.
My question is can I use auto gas from a petrol station.
Thanks

Re: Gas gas gas
So I take it that butane propane and auto gas are the same purity of gas.
I've been told they are different and that incorrect use could lead to coking or heat damage.
This is my worry to take care of my fridge.

Re: Gas gas gas
The mix of butane to propane varies - it is very difficult to ascertain what the mix is as suppliers do not like to publish this for some reason. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with appliances other than a couple of people have had icing up of the regulator on the tank in winter.

So how else are you going to fill it?
You will need 1 long adapter like this with the acme thread.

Re: Gas gas gas
Hi,
I fill with auto gas to run the vehicle and the same gas tops up/fills the other tank for the cooker/fridge.
