DIY distribution pipe anyone (and hoses)?!

Evening All

Any one ever made up a new distribution pipe - the one that runs around the engine bay under the lip of the engine hatch. Mines pretty seriously corroded with one of the pipe unions actually weeping - possibly the cause of a sporadic overheating issue. I've had a look around and can't see any to buy - guessing you have to fabricate one.

Would be good to know if anyones made one up.

I made mine out of silicon tube and brass t pieces, has worked ok for 7,000 miles so far.

Nice one nicbeeee - I was thinking along those lines - or maybe copper pipe? Good to know someone else has done it and its working.
