Where is your jack mounted
Just ordered myself a Jackall hi lift jack. Just wondering where abouts to mount it. Ive got a wheel carrier , so was wondering to weld some brackets onto that or make up brackets to mount it above the front or rear bumper???
Where have you fitted yours?

I have the same mounting points on my wheel carrier. But was told of one breaking near the hinge.

Yes, i originaly wen,t with that idea, ordered mine at the same time as Mike, but he experienced slight ripelling of the side panel, which made me doudt the idea.Mind, Mike is agressive to say the least when offroading, softlaning would probably be OK.

Re: Where is your jack mounted
Im liking the look of that mounted on the wheel carrier, but im concerned about the extra weight now.
Has anybody mounted theirs above the front bumper?

Re: Where is your jack mounted
Someone at Devon had theirs mounted in place of the rear bumper, names escape me
It makes sense to keep that lump of iron as low as possible and at the same time easily accessible. If you're not laning then put it under the rear bench so it's out of sight?

Re: Where is your jack mounted
mines on the roof rack, not the best of places.. I keep on meaning to mount it to the rear bumper, 2 M10 bolts through the bumper and jack, then maybe M10 wingnuts holding it on

Had mine on the roofrack for syncro 25, would imagine it would be impossible to get down when your covered in mud, just when you most need it ![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
