Fuel tank sender

Found my new tank sender is leaking.....am I right in thinking the sealing rubbers are no longer available? I used hylomar on the old seals but I obviously didn't work...hate haveing to do things twice so looking out for new seals now.

Sure I remember something about this a little while ago. Didn't Baxter chase the correct seals??? Can't remember what the outcome was

I did post up about what sealant I could use....if Baxter found some seals it's news to me!

I only used bit of thread seal on the threads. I just cleaned the seals and tank and touch wood no leaks. That said my seals are Vw seals.

I can't remember exactly what happened but if I remember correctly some of the seal that were made were faulty and simon recalled them all. I could be wrong but I'm sure either mike or simon would remember. Have you spoken to them.

I haven't nope....only found the leak tonight...but I will at some point, could Be the threads, hard to tell
