Spares for my fridge.

Post by CliffDutfield »

Hello. After reading a few posts on fridges here recently, I took mine out and cleaned the jet as described.

I was very pleased with myself and when i lit it the pilot looked a much brighter and larger flame. Until the scary bit when it made a 'woof' noise.

So gas off and all out again today, turns out I have got a small break in the pipe than comes from the Gas Control Knob and goes down to join with the Union and hold the jet in place. (Make sense?)

Does this piece have a specific name?

Is it possible to buy this piece of pipe new or do I need to source a second hand unit? Where would be the best place to start my search?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

can't you buy some pipe and make a piece yourself? Might get the pipe from a caravan spares place or ebay etc?
