Exhaust queries

Post by MattyGreg05 »

Hi all. My LHD 1.7d exhaust pipe has corroded on the pipe between the rear box and manifold subsequently sounding rather loud.
I am trying to source just the pipe for replacement however on comparing between my LHD and RHD same year 1.7d's I see that tge pipe is a longer around-then-up pipe on the LHD and has a male pipe connection with clamp at the rear box end, yet the RHD has a shorter under-and-up pipe with a 2or3 bolt flange type connection at the rear box end.
Any ideas where I can get the correct pipe from new if poss, and any ideas how much for? Or does this mean a complete new rear box and exhaust pipe? :(
Need to sort this week idea so prompt responses would be very much appreciated.
Cheers all
Matt
