Hi my bleed screw just turn either way but wont tighten or loosen, is this goosed and do i need a new rad?

goosed yes but not new rad time yet.
You have to remove the bolt, and there are a few ways I can think of.
one that springs to mind is, mole grips, pulling and turning until the threads catch and it undoes.
Another, Prise the bolt head with a flat blade driver as you turn it.
once it's out you can asses the thread in the rad and if it is still there you can use various methods to seal the bolt

I've a customers van that does this, in his case the threaded insert in the plastic of the rad is turning, has been allowing air into system so will be replacement rad for him
