Hello,

Got back last night after 3 weeks of Aircooled bliss... :D

Busfest was great, even the wind carrying off my gazebo was entertaining. :rofl :rofl :rofl

I have lots of dragster footage to E D I T....

Does any one have the link to the giant T3 aerial photo please. :?: :?:

So good to meet everyone...It is good to put a face to the name.

The re meet in Berlin was lots of fun too... I hope the beermugs got back intact!!

Cordialement..

:ok

I'm really chuffed to hear that you had a good time.
Maybe next time I'll make it, though that seems unlikely as I have just bought a farmhouse with 1/2 an acre of land at the back - hmmm, enough room for a mini-VW-Bus-fest.

Sounds nice! We went through Leipzig on our way to Grimma and Colditz - Very nice too! In fact, what a great country! Lots of happy memories for many years to come.

Oh, yes we did! Absolutely facinating! The funny thing is, the tour guide described a documentary that was made recently which re-created the famous glider attempt. The documentary is going to be shown here on channel 4 this coming Monday. When we were waiting in the queue to get on the ferry at calais, I got chatting to the bloke in the van behind. When I mentioned we had been to Colditz, he told me he was one of the crew that made the film! Not too sure if you can get channel 4 in Germany, but you should be able to watch it online on 4OD. Should be great!

Cheers for the heads up.
I have a way to watch most UK TV programs.
