right i want a auto extinguisher for the engine bay of the van can anyone recomend one :ok

C'mon miggs get with the programme; I just typed 'fire extinguisher' into the Search and found this :lol: AFFF system and apparently quite pricey...

I know they're not the most popular suppliers on this site, but Just Kampers have a fairly inexpensive one in their catalogue..

The best ones are 'Fire Trace' systems where a plastic trace (hollow hose loaded with powder) running from the extinguisher itself is under pressure and if it is exposed to a temperature above it's melting point it discharges directly at the source of the excess heat.

Not cheap but very effective.
