Where is my fuel filter?

Post by richlaz »

I'm looking to change the fuel filter in my T25, but unsure of where it would be located?

It's an '84 1.9 DG (pierburg carb)

I'm sure someone will be able to point me in the right direction :D

Thanks in advance :ok

Hi,

Under the van, just after the oulet from the fuel tank. Look under the van behind the front right hand wheel.

There may also be a second one in the engine bay - it isn't needed, but some people fit a second one for some reason.

There is also a fine brass (?) filter on the inlet to the carb - take the fuel in pipe off, and extract the cone filter from within using a small screw.

Cheers,

Alex

I think they fit them in the engine bay because. They dont know about the one just after the tank.

but some people fit a second one for some reason
