Rad. Fan Switch, lower temp version?

Post by wasserleaker »

Howdoo all, I've noticed that a lower temp version of the fan switch is available, like this....
http://www.busdepot.com/radiator-coolin ... 5195948175" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
but can't seem to find anywhere in the UK that sells them, anyone used one, or know where to get one from without the hassle of ordering from the US?
My cooling system is in good order, but i don't like the fact that the fan doesn't come on until after the red light has been flashing for a while.

Have you thought of using a thermostat that opens lower - I use one that opens at 82 degrees. After all the temperature gauge measurement is at the engine not at the radiator.

Just a comment...the led shouldn't flash unless the water is low in the expansion bottle or the water is very hot!
