Contact your insurance co before leaving the UK
An important reminder. Before you go away you have to let your van insurer know that you are driving to Europe otherwise your insurance is invalid. I forgot a couple of years ago. Luckily nothing happened. To all those going to Europe I hope that you all have a great time and don't need to claim. Just a couple of days now before we go too. Yipee!

Cheers for the reminder
We have postponed our trip because the Summer has arrived here in Cheshire, won't last ! - Will be heading off as soon as the weather forecast says it is going downhill again, likely next week or so

You have to (or suppose too) tell them which countries you intend visiting as well
Most insurance policies allow up 90 days free euro insurance , thats why your suppose to tell them

If your policy document says you need to, you need to.
If your policy document does not say you need to, you do not need to.
That simple.
