new aaz bottom end required....:(

Post by thenaylortribe »

Hey fellas! been a while since i've posted on here...just sold my lovely T25 (Wally) with AAZ fitted by phillipacman a few years back..test drove it with the new owner twice. Then he picked it up and drove home to Northampton. Engine stopped working (his words) on A34 and got it towed home. Turns out the bottom end has seized!
I feel bad for him, but I know the engine was as good as it can be as I have lovingly owned Wally since 2006 and we've had some fab holidays in him.

DOes anyone know if there is a forum member near Northampton that would know/be able to change the engine for him - he has no mechanical knowledge....yet!
He obviously needs to source a new AAZ as well........

Elite in Essex will fit a replacement. They can collect and return the vehicle as well. http://vwenginerecon.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in Darwen did a good job of reconditioning my engine. Not cheap mind. Youcan remove your engine and pallet it up to them and they will return the same. Must be fitted according to spec or it will not have warranty.
