has anyone got a winch mounted in the spare wheel bay and how is it fitted?
any problems?, pictures?

Yeh I have. I took my van over to someone who made a one off bracket for me for how I wanted the winch to be mounted. There was a couple of adjustments to be made because like anything bespoke until was tested you cant really tell how it would work.

have you got a fairlead on the inside of the bumper aswell as the outside? or could you mount the winch high enough for that not to be a problem??

The winch is just about high enough so it clears the inside after some adjustments, the inside does have a bigger hole though.

A new winch mounting is currently in development that does not involve any drilling or cutting of the body watch this space

Should be about a month or two, just trying to get the time to get them made up even if you don't have a winch it will incorporate two decent recovery/tow points will update when I have some more news
