3-way fridge (RM212,F) service

Post by Moyners »

Fridge is fine on 12v and mains but I'd also like to get it able to operate on gas - the previous owners hadn't used it on gas for about 20 yrs.

There's no clicking of the ignition mechanism.

I'm guessing that I could do with a firm who can give it a bit of an overhaul, clean up jets, check electrical connections, etc.

Anyone know anyone?

I'm in North London.

Cheers.

Any of the caravan service garages will service a fridge.
Dometic will supply the ignition module if it needs one, usually it's corroded connections and or a poor earth that's the problem

Getting Vanny ready for a wee trip away tomorrow (watch out Suffolk!) I tried the ignition switch - and it does click!!!

Smell of gas coming through so I think I'll wait until it's dark and see what I can see through the little window thingy.
