What was left looked like this,

Brickwerks do a replacement http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... ory_id=140 which is £20 odd but by the time you add shipping and the wait I reckoned its easier to make my own

So, using the original as a template I cut a disc out of 3mm plate and then relieved in the rebate for the pigtail with a hammer and bolster (the BW one doesn't have this - its just flat plate.

Then cut a length of appropriate size tube and welded this to that plate before topping off with some 1mm which I then dished to replicate the original.

I had rubber spring mounts on mine which locate with a small hole so needed to drill this into the new plate as well.
Cleaned up the trailing arm and the drilled some 8mm holes in the new spring mount before puddle welding to trailing arm.

Wizz over with the grinder to tidy up then ready to fit new springs.

And this is what the original looks like on the other side (which will need doing soon as well

Yummy, these are the new Eibach -40's that Baxter has had specially made for BW, couple of pics for comparison to JK -60's.

And fitted

Also trimmed a couple of rings off the front bump stops and the ride is much better, not a big fan of slamming on these so -40 is ideal for me

Job done.
Anyone want to buy a set of -60's?
