Fuel tank question...........

Post by shepster »

I've been given a petrol tank that I'm looking at fitting on my van, I'm running a 2.1 on LPG with a carb.

The one I have has a larger outlet than the original and there seems to be some sort of filter system inside?

Will this work on my van?

Cheers in advance.

12mm outlet with a swirl pot. I believe is for the 2.1. This is the tank I used in my subaru conversion.
I believe the standard petrol and diesel tanks are both the same with 8mm outlets. The only other difference would be the diameter of the filler tubes early and late vans are different I can't remember the correct size off the top of my head but its somewhere around 60mm and 48mm.
Hope that helps a bit :?

we didn't bother with all that crap...
The van is on gas most 99% of the time.. breathers were blocked off.
