We had a strange expierence in Luxembourg a few years ago, it was hard to find a parking space in the city, but eventually parked up next to a UK reg. bedford conversion. Went for a wander and on returning met the Bedfords owner, an Aussie bloke who claimed he was going to drive it back to OZ from the UK. Chatting away, he started to ask some very strange and personal questions. we had told him we were heading on to France in the morning, but to be honest we were worried about spending the night parked beside him. So about 9.30 PM we made a run for it, and low and behold he started to follow! He followed us right across Luxenbourg city untill I managed to cut it fine through a red light and he had to stop. We kept going till we were past Verdun and parked up for thew night in a farmers field, way down a side road. The only other scary moment was when, lost on the Paris ringroad, four police motorcyclists roared up behind us and pushed us over into the slow lane. I had visions of 7 years in a Beau Gest type army prison, but it turned out that they were clearing a lane for the French Rugby Team bus.. (it was a world cup year) I thought about putting theirmonster coach into the barriers, to at least give Ireland a chance in the competition, but decided if the crash didnt kill me, the mob would
