Cool I'll try Plus gas.
I have a blow torch so I'll try that too.

What heat it up with a welder?[/quote]
how?
i would not advise the use of heat in this case because of the rubber bushings in the shocks.

Re: THE SYNCRO JOURNEY!
If it really won't come undone. Cut the nut with a 1mm cutting disk and then chisel it off.
If you use plus gas and a blow torch you will set fire to the plusgas and bush.
Changing the shocks should be a 10 minute job.

Yep + I can actually see the silver rod inside as the outer case is rusted to buggery.
Obviously I'm not going to use plus gas and heat together.
Should have the soda blast kit tomorrow so I'll let you know how that goes too.

Re: THE SYNCRO JOURNEY!
Try Pepsi. I'm not being funny the acid in it eats through. Took me ages to to remove my front wheel, rusted to the hub. A day soaked in Pepsi came and it came off...
Re: THE SYNCRO JOURNEY!
Coke is more acidic than pepsi. So should work better.
Myself.I will continue to use plusgas.
