Saw two Syncros today in the Lake district

I was passed by two Syncros today that looked like they were in convoy with a couple of other 4x4 vehicles, one was a Red Doka i think and the other a blue Westy or could it have been the other way round? They looked like they were heading for Grizedale Forest where I know there are some dificult Off road routes to tackle.

Was it any one from here?

Mike Ghia was up there at the weekend doing Gatescarth Pass with members of BORG.
Thing there were 2 syncro's SOKA and Westy Syncro.

Great videos, it was definitely them that I saw heading either up to Grizedale Forest or south towards Lakeside at the bottom of Lake Windermere.

I want a Syncro even more now but I should just be happy with what I've got for now. Maybe one day......

Hi guys, yep, we had lunch up in Grizedale on monday if it was about that time? Mike Ghia, I have to thank for a load of advise (as well as my invite on said trip) had been with us sat/sun, the two syncros were out for their first trips greenlaning, the westy fresh into this country, mine because I only rebuilt and fitted the vc on friday afternoon I had been running it 2wd for over a year.
I guess I really should introduce myself, as I'm more of a 'lurker' than 'someone one here'! I'm Dave from Halifax and I now have a need to get out on more 4x4 trips

Iltis needs another outing! Find some lanes! Michael also bought a HiLux surf and is keen to go out too.
I don't think there's that much over Calderdale way is there?
