If you only do one thing, tell your insurance company that you've changed the engine!
You then may need to change your insurance company!
I'm using Glywood, who bettered Flux by about £100.

yes i live in corringham.
The breakers is up the (old) A130 - just after the traffic lights at the top of the hill - on the left - its an old petrol garage. they had 2 impreza's - only one engine.
I just had my van finished - it has no temparature guage, do you know how to get one working?

Hi Ally
I will have to stick my nose in that breakers the next time we are going to Hullbridge.
For the temp gauge I connected the original VW wiring to the standard scooby sender, as is it will read a bit high but perfectly readable, you can put a resistor in series with the sender feed to make the gauge read normally check the american yahoo group for the info. I also fitted an aftermarket temp gauge with the sender in the line to the rad. If you need a hand sorting out the temp gauge drop us an email to vdub@blueyonder.co.uk with a phone number and I'll ring you and sort a meet out.
