1989 Autosleeper Trident

Post by bhpdub »

Hi...
I've got a 1989 Autosleeper Trident, that is still in the original paint.
I want to smarten the paint in a couple of small ares.
Does anyone have or know the Autosleeper paint code please?
Its the white one (I think they all were?) with burgandy decals.
Thanks in advance.

What conversion it is has absolutely no relevence to what colour the van was when it left the factory in Germany. You can have white Tridents, red Tridents or even hearing aid beige Tridents.....

However since it's a late white one it's probably Pastel White VW code L90D. The code will be on the paper sticker under the steering wheel on the bulkhead cross member.

I presumed that Autosleeper painted them again, during the conversion...Just like Devon did.

You won't find any genuine devon camper, painted in standard VW colours, as Devon repainted them in thier own colour scheme, during the conversion process.

Thanks for the info on the paint code.
