Build thread newbie from Cannock

Post by hellybort »

Hello folks
We have just become the proud owners of 'Cookie' the 1989 1.7 diesel T25. Named by our eldest son (aged 6) as he said it is the same colour as the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street lol. Bought as an empty panel van we are doing a full camper conversion ourselves, on a tight budget! Already bought and fitted R&R oversized 3/4 bed, bought but not fitted flooring, panel insulation, curtains, curtain track etc. If anyone has any of the following items for sale we would be very grateful.

small sink with taps
hob/grill unit
single passenger seat, would willingly swap for the double bench.
fridge preferably not the chest type.
wood for lining the van,
dash tidy
replacement gear knob (all of the numbers have rubbed off ours lol)
and anything else a newbie would need for an interior!

Any offers gratefully received
07769288708 is my mobie number if anyone has anything of interest.
Many many thanks

Here are the photos of 'Cookie' that were on ebay. I haven't taken any more yet but
since we have taken ownership of him he has had:
A 3/4 R&R bed
wall insulation
new flooring (yet to be fitted)
complete Reimo conversion interior bought complete from another T25
curtain track
curtains
new R&R bed foam (not upholstered yet)
Diesel heater
new speedo clocks surround
and other bits & pieces.
He is already starting to look like a camper lol instead of a van.
Wish me luck
Hellybort xx

Yep nice to know we have some local T25 neighbours. Be nice to put faces to names at the shows.

Well, we have had a bargain....bought a complete Reimo interior out of a van that was scrapped!!!

Me and hubby Dave have spent all day getting it to fit lol. I've even had a go at re trimming the panels lol
