Hi all
I have just found out I can get the window seal with a strip in it through work. However it comes in loads of sizes.
I am thinking this is the best size channel:
glass groove - 4.75mm
Body work groove - 0.6-1.2mm
However the window opposite the sliding door has a glass-fibre liner piece that makes it a bit thicker - so maybe 3mm for that one?
Any thoughts
Tom

that sounds about right if you get one too narrow it will tend to kink and not seal right.

Re: window seals converted panel van
well ive had a good look now and measured the old seals and glass etc.
all glass / sliding frames is 4mm - so I think 4.75mm channel will be fine for that.
for body panels it lists one as suitable for 0.8 - 1.2mm panels which I think is about right?
which leaves the one opposite the sliding door which is body panel + glassfibre liner + lining carpet. I can choose 3.75mm or 4.75mm for this one I think its gotta be 4.75, panel is what 1mm ish? glass fibre bt is 2mm and carpet must be 1mm compressed.
anyones thoughts will be gratefully recieved!
Thanks
