power steering

hi everyone since fitting 17s on my van and a smaller steering wheel parking is a pain.i know alot of people prefer the standard set up but with fitting aftermarket seats i had to use a smaller steering wheel.so now i would like the option of fitting power steering but dont know if i should go with original parts or there is a guy on the internet that does it for around £400.would it be easier to go/fit with original parts and if so roughly how much would that cost or go with the guy on the internet for £400,cheers dave

I would imagine that to retro fit a standard set up would be an expensive option, I fitted the aftermarket kit from 'ultimate engineering' and I have to say it works really well and makes driving the van a pleasure. Be aware though some people have mentioned insurance problems so speak to your insurance co first.

Thanks i am happy with my stock VW PAS, just want to get the best from it.
