I'm head of a small special school. We have been taking our kids there for the last 15 years. It's a beautiful place an lovely beach. But I wouldn't go in the main holidays as the facilities can't cope. You get all sorts there but live an let live

What he said ^^^^
We've been every year for the last 5 years with a large group of families and usually go on a June or July weekend before the main school holidays. We've always had a fabulous time and found the site management and facilities fine, although the portaloos at the dune end can get a little whiffy. Perhaps a site to use out of season unless you choose the less popular camping spots there?

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems but it will p.iss off enough people to make it worth the effort

It's pretty much camouflaged on a campsite but stands out like a sore thumb on an urban motorway

Ive never had any problems and have left surf boards, etc in unlocked tents. It does get very busy with all sorts, but I think its down to where you camp and what it is your leaving behind. Great spot though, love it
