Ive done all the welding (new rear wing, inner sill repairs, outer sill & side panel myself,B posts, wheel arches etc etc) and all the body prep myself (with the assistance of some good mates - pints owed...)
Paint shop is owned by a an aquaintance who is spraying it for £100 ( I had to mask it and will be back in tomorrow to flat it). Paint for the topcoat was £130 ish and that was a good price through work, the primer I got for free from work.
All in - panels, paint, sundries, filler, it must be maybe £600 minimum, with few new bits for the interior, fabric curtains etc I reckon itll be the best part of a grand.

Very exciting, great job saving cash! My alternative is to weld, prep then use Combi colour on the lower 12" (where it tends to rot) as there always seems to be something to do! Show us the topcoat.
As requested the topcoat... spent so long thinking about a colour, but plumped for good ol pastel white again... and its shiiiinnnyy!!
Grinning even more now...
it is a little bit orange peely, but thats mostly down to me being tight and using some free industrial primer rather than automotive which is a bit thick to lay on flat... but it is designed to be corrosion resistant for offshore oil rigs so Im hoping it proves to be tough! will whip it all up with some G3 and a mop, see if I flatten it off a bit - Im not that bothered - itll only be a matter of time before my son crashes his bike into it!!!
Now I wan some shiny chrome hub caps to go with my new body colour wheels!!

it is - its just the artificial light / poor phone camera make it look really heavy cream - I thought the same to start with, but in daylight when I opened the shop doors its spot on
