Is there any play when you rock it at 3 and 9 o'clock?
There is always a bit of play at 12 & 6, some MoT testers pull them up for it but it's standard.

Mine has been "wobbly" with "high play" for the last 7 years.

Is there any wheel bearing noise?

Change them .... have the hub cap off, repack the bearing with high temp. grease and tighten as per the Haynes .... NOT tight, just so you can almost move the thrust washer. See how that feels, if it still rumbles swap the bearings .... a 2 hour job with coffee taking your time.

and budget for a new backing plate as when you remove the bearing carrier the backing plate usually falls to pieces
