Blitz on Fritz

Post by gil90 »

Hi, Here I go on the revitalisation of my 1990 Kameo van. I haven't any experience in this sort of work but I gota mig and plenty of tools, any advice will be appreciated. I've stripped the cabinets out, I,ve ordered some panels, lower sill, wheel arch footwells. Waiting on a set of blair spot weldcutters There's a few jobs to do, i'm thinkin wheelarches, a few where i'll have to make patches. Thought i'd start on the offside sill and lower refridgerator panel along with the inside floor. these fotos are of the state they are in
Thanks to all the people who have posted their experiences on this forum which gave me the confidence to tackle the job :ok

Patching tends to be a short term fix unless the surrounding metal is truly in vgc. It seems a bigger job to replace the panel bug probably easier in the end! From experience.....
