Can I turn up and buy a ticket at Dunkirk or Calais

Post by Pandion »

Or will the cost make my eyes water? I am driving back and am not sure what day let alone what time I will get there so I was wondering if I can just but a ticket when I get there or if idiots possible to change a ticket or something? Anyone done this? I can't find out from any of their websites other than 'premium fare' but what's that?

Yup, I have done this a couple of years ago. I got a return ferry with Norfolk line on a ten day return booking. Decided to return after eight days so I phoned them and they were very helpfull and it wasn,t a problem. Mind you we always take the night/early hours ferry when they are not so busy. In your case I don,t think you will have a problem as long as you are prepared to wait "for the next one"
