1.6 n/a 1.7 diesel manifold/exhaust

Hi All

Can anyone tell me is the 1.6 1.7 manifold different and or interchangeable between the Two and will the 1.6n/a exhaust fit the 1.7 as i know the downpipe is longer.

Any help appreciated.

Sorry but I can't help with your question about the manifolds however I notice that you have a Reimo Primus and would love to see a piccie or two of it as I think that is what I have. Best of luck with your engine query.

not sure on the manifold but the complete pipework for the 1,7 has a larger diameter than the 1.6

its also visually different due to the 1.7 having a flexi joint along its length

Sorry no pics at the moment this is a remo conversion inside was gutted mini pop top with a bit of multi van interior.

Thanks Billy just trying to work out if i can cheat and put the 1.6 exhaust on and not buy the 1.7 downpipe still trying to get end of downpipe of two bolts welded to it bring on the plusgas and some heat.
