Nice, I trust you have a suitable replacement, I wouldn't want to think your memory-mapping days are over ?

I paid £50 for my Samsung Netbook. It's great. I have memory map thanks to member on here plus VAGCOM and I can download movies for free for the kids. Best £50 I have spent in Syncro land.

Thumbs up here for ASUS netbook with solid state disk, may be small but no worries about data loss when the going gets rough. Small enough to strap to the top of the dashboard.

Isn't life a bitch! I have just skipped eight of those, all 3 years old! Service guys hated them.

Really? Why? What they use them for? VW use tough books for the diag machines as well.syncropaddy wrote:Isn't life a bitch! I have just skipped eight of those, all 3 years old! Service guys hated them.

They were used on the rigs and trucks underground and on the rigs in the quarries for diagnostics plus other stuff. They were always complaining about how slow they were. They didnt bounce very well either
