Hi there,
I'm planning on taking a Ferry July 2013 from Dover to Calais and then driving down over a period of 3 weeks into Spain, and then getting the Ferry back from Santander to Portsmouth.
The Dover to calais leg of the journey is pretty cheap, but looking at prices for the trip back from Spain, they seem to be about £500 for 2 people. Is this the norm? I guess that's to include a cabin etc... but I was wondering if any one else has done anything similar? Any way to get the cost down? Height of the van is 2.4m
Cheers guys

Thats the norm mate , I've look at taking the LT (3m+) with the 3 of us , again around the £500 mark , its the cabin that ups the price , same as the Hull-Zebra crossing

Bummer. Ah well, I guess it's a big trip, so what the hell eh?
I take it sleeping in the van on board isnt an option
