Advice on adjusting mechanical air conditioner please

Hello,

I've just installed my air conditioner in the van ready for the big holidays...

It is a very compact machine, about the size of a Calor gas heater.

Intended for use on campsites with EHP.

Its a made in China thing, still available, (1 year old), Make/model PC07-SR6.

Here is my question:

Being mechanical there is no presettable cut in temp. While it works well, it does not cut in below about 22 celcius.

I would like it to cut in at about 18 c.

Is there some way of adjusting this.

I will take the case off and can photo any relevant bits...

What will the thermostat look like?

Who knows until you get inside it could be governed by something like these thermistors,


photo's of the area behind your knobs and circuit boards will be needed I should think.
